Day 1: Arrive Madrid, Spain (D)
Bienvenidos a España! Arrive in Madrid for a panoramic tour of the old and new city centers. End the evening at the famous Restaurante Balzac.

Day 2: Madrid (B, L, D)
Visit the Royal Tapestry factory before heading to the Royal Palace. After a leisurely afternoon, enjoy an evening of tapas and Spanish wine tasting.

Day 3: Madrid (B, L, D)
Start the day in the famed Prado Museum, and then wander the San Miguel market before lunching at Los Galayos. Later discover the Templo de Debod and then explore the Plaza de España.

Day 4: Madrid – Toledo (B, L, D)
Journey south to enchanting Toledo, once the capital of Spain, where for centuries the three faiths of Christianity, Islam and Judaism coexisted.

Day 5: Madrid – Cordoba – Granada (B, D)
Board a high-speed train for Cordoba where you’ll visit the Mezquita and wander the markets and streets of the “Jewish Quarter” before setting off for a brief visit to Baena, a traditional olive oil mill, and then on to Granada.

Day 6: Granada – Seville (B, L)
Tour the Alhambra, the spectacular fortified Moorish palace of the Nasrid kings. Stroll through Granada’s maze of streets in the afternoon, and then drive to Sevilla for a leisurely dinner.

Day 7: Sevilla (B, L, D)
Sevilla opens its doors to you, beginning with sightseeing in this magical capital of Andalucía. Discover Alcázar and the Barrio Santa Cruz before visiting Giralda, the second largest church in Christendom. End the day with a paella cooking demonstration and a tapas dinner tour.

Day 8: Sevilla (B, L, D)
Take a short drive to see where the fighting bulls are bred, and you’ll even have a chance to try your own skills with the bulls. Return to Sevilla for a boat trip along the Guadalquivir River and a gourmet farewell dinner.

Day 9: Departure (B)
You’re homebound now. ¡Despedida (farewell)!
