ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive Cape Town, South Africa (D)
Arrive in Cape Town and enjoy our welcome dinner at the Gold Restaurant.

Day 2: Cape Town – Cape Point (B, L)
Visit Cape Point, Table Mountain and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, enjoying the panoramic beaches and coastline of South Africa.

Day 3: Cape Town (B, L)
Take a historic journey to Robben Island, the infamous prison that was home to Nelson Mandela for 18 years of his incarceration. Later, Operation Hunger takes you to squatter camps on the outskirts of Cape Town for a rare and extraordinary view of the African townships.

Day 4: Cape Town (B)
Make this day your own, enjoying the beaches or exploring Cape Town. Or you can choose to take a popular Winelands Tour.

Day 5: Cape Town – Kruger National Park (B, L, D)
Fly to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport for our stay at the Idube Game Lodge in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, in the heart of the Kruger National Park.

Day 6: Kruger National Park (B, L, D)
Enjoy the Kruger National Park with morning and afternoon game drives, and an optional two-hour walking safari.

Day 7: Kruger National Park (B, L, D)
Enjoy another day at the Kruger National Park with morning and afternoon game drives, and an optional two-hour walking safari.

Day 8: Kruger National Park – Kiepersol (B, D)
Travel to the Chestnut Country Lodge, in pristine indigenous bushland, in the beautiful farming district of Kiepersol. Enjoy dinner at the Shangana Cultural Village along with tribal songs and dances.

Day 9: Panorama Route (B, L, D)
Embark on a full day tour of the Panorama Route, including Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window and the historic town of Pilgrims Rest.

Day 10: Kiepersol – Victoria Falls, Zambia (B, D)
Fly to Zambia for a stay at the David Livingstone Safari Lodge and Spa on the banks of the Zambezi River near Victoria Falls. Enjoy a gourmet dinner and picturesque vistas on the luxurious Royal Livingstone Express Steam Train.

Day 11: Victoria Falls (B)
Take a walking tour of the stunning Victoria Falls, and later cruise on the African Queen catamaran at sunset.

Day 12: Victoria Falls – Sanctuary Retreats Stanley’s Camp, Botswana (B, L, D)
Transfer to Sanctuary Retreats Stanley’s Camp in Botswana.

Day 13: Sanctuary Retreats Stanley’s Camp (B, L, D)
Enjoy the day at Stanley’s Camp with morning and afternoon game drives, or take part in a special opportunity to interact with three semi-habituated elephants—Jabu, Thembi and Morula on a morning walk.

Day 14: Sanctuary Retreats Stanley’s Camp – Johannesburg (B, D)
Arrive in Johannesburg and enjoy your first night at the famous Moyo’s.

Day 15: Johannesburg – Departure (B)
Tour Johannesburg, known as “Egoli,” the City of Gold, before heading home. Bon Voyage!
